Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia

is a doctoral student in the department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Austin.  Her research focuses on instructional technology in the areas of PK-12 classroom technology integration, teacher education programs, and digital equity. Her dissertation research will focus on the relationship between teacher education and resulting novice teachers' conception of digital equity.  She currently teaches for the School of Education and New College at St. Edward’s University.  Mrs. Gonzales-Dholakia holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Adult Education.  Because service to community and education is of the upmost importance to her, she currently serves on the board of directors for Leander Educational Excellence Foundation, is a Parent Teacher Association board member, and volunteers regularly at her children's school.
